Abstract

It is known that at this time when we live in the age of digital communication, people tend towards mass media in order to get information about health like every other topic. However, this tendency does not include the meaning that old communication means and environments are completely abandoned. The nature of the service provided and the willingness of needy people to search for remedies or to live in good health cause the use of old communication tools and environments to a considerable extent. Today, communication tools and environments such as recommendations from friends, advertisement, brochures and face-to-face interviews are also used to a great extent. The level of this situation in everyday life emerges as a reality to be investigated. In this survey conducted on the scale of Konya it has been determined that the majority of people use mostly the television to receive health news, they are interested in health news in communication tools and the majority of people have chronic illness.
